Volunteering In Culpeper

Return to County Index

Volunteers are important to any organization or community. Here in Culpeper County, there are a host of opportunities for you to contribute your time, energy and ideas to make this community a better place to be.

Not only can you serve on a committee, board or commission of the Board of Supervisors, but you can also assist agencies such as Animal Services, Parks and Recreation, Culpeper Fire & Rescue Association, and the Culpeper County Library.

What makes a volunteer?

  • Someone looking for a meaningful challenge.
  • Someone who enjoys seeing children smile and succeed.
  • Someone with skills and experience to share.
  • Someone willing to lend a helping hand to those less fortunate.
  • Someone who wants to learn new skills and improve their employment options.
  • Someone who wants to enrich not only their own life, but those of others in the community.

If any of these descriptions fit you, please click the link for the department (agency) below for which you'd like to volunteer. Or, contact the Culpeper County Administration Office at the number above for more information.
