Flexible/Dependent Care Spending Accounts (FSA)

Culpeper County offers pre-tax flexible spending accounts for reimbursement of eligible medical and child care expenses; the Health Care Spending Account (Medical FSA) and/or the Dependent Care Spending Account (Dependent FSA).  Contributions are made on a pre-tax, per-pay basis via payroll deduction.

 

A VISA debit card is provided to each employee enrolled in a FSA plan which may be used to pay for eligible expenses.  Eligible expenses must be incurred anytime from the beginning of the plan year, which starts October 1st through September 30th of the following year.  This plan is administered by Flexible Benefits Administrators.
