Deal proudly serves as a Culpeper County Board of Supervisor serving the West
Fairfax District since January 1, 2016. After 16 years he recently retired
as Loudoun County’s Engineering Quality Assurance Manager. Mr. Deal also
worked for the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) for 24 years as
Transportation Engineer and Land Acquisition Real Estate Specialist.
Deal heads and facilitates the Board of Supervisor’s initiative for Culpeper
Youth & the Youth Advisory Council, a program he brought forward from
Loudoun County. He strives to introduce this program to our adjacent regional

Today, Mr. Deal serves on the Human
Services Board, Library Board, Parks & Rec Advisory Committee, Public
Safety Board, Building & Grounds Committee, Board Chamber Representative,
Chairman of Town/County Interaction Committee, and Chairman of Culpeper Youth
& the Youth Advisory Council and a Mid-Day
Lions Club member.
Mr. Deal assisted in leading Loudoun County’s Building & Development through Loudoun's growth period. He was involved diligently in the many fast track Economic Development projects including the Howard Hughes Medical Center and Salamander Inn at Middleburg. He also served 2 years on the Culpeper County Planning Commission.
Mr. Deal enjoys tennis, basketball, and coaching. He is a certified tennis professional and in the 80’s won 60 regional tennis tournaments. Mr. Deal has coached and mentored kids and young adults during the course of 30+ years of youth development. He currently coaches tennis at Woodberry Forest School and is a part-time pro at the Culpeper Sport & Racquet Club.
